Econ Journal Watch (EJW) has announced a call for papers for commentaries on Smith/Hume scholarship.

Please consider participating in the symposium and helping get the word out to Smith/Hume scholars in your network.

Critical comments are to be on Smith/Hume scholarships of the past 20 years—particularly on scholarship pertaining to their moral, political, and economic philosophizing and historiography. Authors of the papers commented on will be invited to reply and the exchange will be published inEJW.

EJW is a Web of Science journal with an extensive readership and a special preoccupation with Adam Smith. Nine Nobel Laureates who have lent their names to EJW’s advisory council.

Your contribution to this project of the journal offers the opportunity for friendly and open discussion about differences of interpretation about Smith and Hume. If you’d like to propose a critical comment write to EJW Managing Editor Jason Briggeman at jason@briggeman.org.
