Bursary Fund

Thanks to generous donors, the International Adam Smith Society has limited funds available to support graduate student participation and scholars in need in IASS sponsored events.  These events include standalone meetings or IASS-sponsored sessions at more broadly-themed academic conferences.

If you intend to present a paper at such a venue, and would be aided by modest travel support, you are welcome to complete our bursary form application here.  Applying as far in advance as possible is suggested since we fill requests on a rolling basis and generally make funding decisions quarterly.

Early Career Fund

The Fund is intended to support the next generation of Smith scholars: PhD students, recent post-doctoral and early career academics working on Adam Smith or whose research explores ideas rooted in the Smithian tradition.

The fund will support travel and attendance at academic conferences where the scholars disseminate new research and build their academic profile.
